Mixed Media (Gouache, Acrylic, and Ink on Paper)

This minimalist abstract work explores the concept of cosmic balance and the interaction of fundamental forces through stark geometric and chromatic contrast. The composition is divided into defined, hard-edged fields of color: an active, warm orange/red, a cool, stable blue, and two grounding shades of gray.The concept centers on the tension between these opposing blocks of color, reminiscent of De Stijl principles, but subverted by the introduction of three circular forms.
